Nestled in the South of France, this hospitality project involved the transformation of a traditional villa into an elegant and welcoming boutique bed and breakfast. The owners envisioned a destination that would offer guests the comfort and intimacy of a private home while delivering the quality and refinement of a luxury hospitality experience.

The design challenge was to create a cohesive identity throughout the property while preserving the authenticity and charm of the existing architecture. Every intervention was guided by a desire to celebrate the villa's character and strengthen its connection to the surrounding Mediterranean landscape.

A strong emphasis was placed on bespoke craftsmanship and custom detailing. Made-to-measure joinery, custom bedframes, handcrafted furniture elements, and carefully selected natural materials contribute to an atmosphere that feels both elevated and inviting. Warm woods, textured fabrics, natural stone, and artisanal finishes were chosen to reflect the colours and textures found throughout the region.

Each guest room was designed as a unique experience while remaining connected to the project's overall design language. Particular attention was paid to proportion, comfort, and material continuity, ensuring that every space feels intentional and harmonious.

The design intent was to create interiors that appear as though they have evolved naturally alongside the architecture itself. The result is a refined yet approachable retreat that offers guests an authentic sense of place while embodying the relaxed sophistication of Southern France.
